Like many who commented, I knew Liz from elementary school. She was warm and bright, but she also could exhibit a wonderful goofiness, that made you wonder, "is she putting me on right now or not." We were 16 years young, a group of us from New Rochelle High School decided to go skiing at Hunter Mountain. I drove, but not before I went before Mr. Kaprow, to receive a well placed lecture on "the precious cargo" I was transporting. Liz lived in a wonderful mid-century modern home, and when I entered the living room to receive my talk, her father stood before the fireplace mantle. Above him on the wall was a painting filled with squiggly brown and black lines that burst with energy. I asked him "who painted that" (I may have included the word "thing"). Mr. Kaprow responded, "Someone by the name of Jackson Pollack." Liz grew up with art and care and her life and interests reflected all that. My heart goes out to those who loved her. They will miss her dearly.
Holy cow! 75! How did that happen? Belated birthday greetings to someone I always saw as kind. May it come back to you tenfold.Midge.

Good morning Robert and thanks so much for the birthday greetings belated or not.
At this point in my life I'm trying to forget my birthdays as rapidly as possible.
I'm still working mostly (4 days a week) at my private practice and teaching. Work remains extremely gratifying and that is a blessing.
Family, including grandchildren are all doing well and that is wonderful.
I hope your health is good and that you and yours are thriving.

I am so sorry to hear about "Pags." I remember spending a wonderful day with Don and his Dad where the three of us went to his father's rod and gun club. His father cooked a wonderful meal and Don and I spent the day shooting his Dad's 30-06 in the back.Plugging rounds into an old castiron stove was so much fun and so far from my life's routine that I never forgot that day or Don.
