Hi Judy, Happy Birthday! In my dotage the image of the SYL came back to me. I have to take a bit of pride in bringing you and Liz into it.
Happy Birthday, Tom. Forget what Feir said, there is no chance for sanity.
Some people wonder how I manage to maintain a youthful outlook. I tell them that a big positive component is exercise. Recently, for reasons I don't need to get into, I have found it beneficial to start exercising my anal sphincter. I had to do some research on the best method, and I used AI. Anal Intelligence. Who knew?

Bob, This is the other side of the late night coin. I went to sleep at 4am on June 3, but was working on something, so since I only just woke up and had a shower: Happy Birthday!

I am very sorry to hear about Eric. I was at the University of Wisconsin one year, and Eric came to my dorm where we had a meeting with George Mosse, a highly regarded social historian. I remember Eric having a very interesting argument with Mosse. Mosse was extremely open to having this kind of difference of opinion, and he and Eric got into it pretty good. Eric had no fear, but Mosse didn't make anyone feel like they couldn't express an opinion. Eric was a true believer.
Hi Don, I hope you continue to do well.

I'm very sorry to hear about Myra. I don't think we hung around too much in high school, but we were both at the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1965 to 1966. I only stayed one year, but Myra and I had a lot of interesting and funny conversations, which I remember pretty well. One in particular about someone we knew casually who was from Wisconsin. Myra was for me a real bit of home out there in the Midwest.
