I am so sorry to hear about "Pags." I remember spending a wonderful day with Don and his Dad where the three of us went to his father's rod and gun club. His father cooked a wonderful meal and Don and I spent the day shooting his Dad's 30-06 in the back.Plugging rounds into an old castiron stove was so much fun and so far from my life's routine that I never forgot that day or Don. RIP "Pags"  Matthew Zetumer

Here's a blast from the past, Matt. Brought back some memories. Hope you remember me! I've lived in Santa Monica since 2002. Have a boy in HS and one starting college next month.

Hi Matthew,

So sorry I didn't make it to the reunion to see everyone.

I had dinner recently in Florida with friends of my sister - and when I mentioned missing the reunion, he asked where I went to High School, yada, yada, yada. When I told him, he asked if I knew Steve Mark and Matthew Zettumer. His name is David Werner, and he's an opthamologist. I told him I could probably reach you via this website and he said to send his regards. Small world.

Hope you and your family are all well and not to cold in our recent weather!

All the best,

Barbara

Matt, Well I saw you but a second and there was way too much catching up to do. Everyone looked great. Did you see Dale Linder? I understand that he was in attendance? Perhaps next time or when I'm again in San Diego. My Best

Hello Oliver, this is Matthew Zetumer currently living in San Diego, CA. From time to time I've wondered what happened to you. I presently do some work for the NFL, and I remember you as being a phenomenal athlete and superb running back. I was curious if you ended up playing D1 ball and if so, where?

Hopefully you will make it to the reunion.

All my best,

Matthew

Hi Evelyn,

It is a shock about Steve. He and I were just emailing about the reunion last Sunday, then came the news. Quite a loss.

Glad to see that you are attending the reunion. Look forward to seeing you.

Fondly,

Matthew

Well Matt I missed it again. You must admit, I'm consistent. A Happy Belated Birthday and I hope all is well. Looking forward to seeing you this coming October. Bill

Matthew,
Rather then taking the chance and then chancing a senior moment,
Happy Birthday 1/11/15. Smiling - It just gets better with age!

Matthew Zetumer- Judy Arons was my first girlfriend. There, I said it. When we were in second grade at Roosevelt School I was smitten. She was smart, pretty, and had a smile that made you feel good, but at the same time a little intimidated because even at that age she seemed self-assured, and you knew that you weren't. I'm not sure what my parents, or her parents for that matter, were thinking but they set us up "on a date." It seems ludicrous now to think of two second graders on a date, but I remember walking up to her door in New Rochelle, my parents waiting in the car. Her parents, or maybe it was just her mother, standing in the door frame and the long walk back to the car.

We went to the RKO theatre. My parents (and my sister, Lisa who teased me mercilessly thereafter) sat several rows over. I just remember sitting next to Judy and being nervous for 118 minutes.

It's ironic that we ended up in the same field. Judy trained at the Boston Psychoanalytic Institute and after residency, I trained at the San Diego Psychoanalytic Institute. I would have loved to hear what Judy would have thought about that date now. I wish she were here to ask her.

Matt,
I can't believe that I forgot to wish you a Happy Birthday, but old age is starting to take it's toll on me. I do hope you had a great day with your family and friends and that everything is going well. As a point of information, I recently found out that Gene Feist is living in an actors and entertainment industries home in New Jersey. Our director will be turning 91 later this month. I still have fond memories of Babes in Arms and all the fun we had together. All the best to you and your family and here's hoping we get together at our 50th. next year.
